You decide
Act on it yourself, or have us negotiate and audit for you. If there is nothing worth pursuing, we say so.
What we review
Five places a parcel agreement loses money.
Each one is checked against your own shipments, and the analysis tells you which are worth acting on.
- 01
Rates and discounts
What you actually pay by service, zone and weight, against what your agreement promises and what comparable terms look like.
- 02
Minimum charges and fuel
How much of your volume is priced by the minimum rather than your discount, and whether your fuel terms are a real concession.
- 03
Surcharges and dimensional weight
Residential, delivery area, handling and size charges, your DIM divisor, and which of them your agreement leaves at full price.
- 04
Billing errors you can recover
Charges that do not match your agreement, and which are still inside the window to claim a refund.
- 05
Tiers, expiring terms and peak
Volume tiers you could drop out of, incentives that end before your discount does, and what peak season will add.
In their words
Shippers who thought their discounts were already strong.
The shipment-level analysis showed that the percentages we had always focused on were no longer the terms driving our spend. The final result exceeded $1 million annually without changing our operation.
Their analysis showed exactly where the proposal improved our pricing and where it quietly made certain terms worse.
We thought our 65% Ground discount meant there wasn’t much left to negotiate. Their analysis showed that the discount wasn’t actually controlling what we paid on most shipments.
The team behind your analysis
We priced these contracts from the inside.
Our team came out of carrier pricing and account management at leading parcel carriers. That experience helps us identify which terms are worth negotiating and how to make the case for them, and we put it to work for shippers, never for carriers.
Your analysis is read against your own shipments by people who have sat on the other side of the table. ebb Logistics was founded in 2021 by Ray Johnson and works from Wilmington, North Carolina.

The terms, in plain words
A free analysis, and no fees until we save you money.
- The analysis is free. No card, no contract and no obligation to hire us.
- Our work is paid from savings. If you ask us to negotiate or audit, our fee is an agreed share of documented savings or recovered errors. No retainer, no upfront fee.
- A straight answer. If there is nothing worth pursuing, we tell you, in writing.
- We work for shippers, never carriers. No carrier pays us or shapes what we recommend.
Before you ask
Questions shippers ask first.
Do I need to send my carrier agreement to start?
No. Start with the form. We then ask for a copy of your agreement, and the 48 hours for your written analysis start when we receive them. Documents go straight to private storage.
Will I have to switch carriers?
No. Most clients keep their current carriers and negotiate better terms. If a switch is worth considering, we show you the savings against the cost and disruption.
What does it cost?
The analysis is free, with no obligation. If you then ask us to negotiate or audit for you, our fee is an agreed share of the documented savings or recovered billing errors. There is no retainer or upfront fee.
Is my agreement kept confidential?
Yes. Documents are stored privately, read only by the people working on your analysis, and deleted when the review is finished if you do not engage us. We never share one client’s terms with another.
We ship less than the companies in your results. Is it worth it?
Send the details anyway. The terms that cost larger shippers money, minimum charges, surcharges and fuel, apply at every size, and we will tell you honestly whether a review is worth your time.
Do you work on LTL freight as well as parcel?
Yes. We negotiate LTL agreements and audit freight bills, including reweighs and freight class, alongside UPS, FedEx and USPS parcel.
