DHL Supply Chain Strengthens E-Commerce Fulfillment for Small and Midsize Businesses

DHL Supply Chain is expanding its North American capabilities with the acquisition of IDS Fulfillment, a logistics provider specializing in e-commerce and retail distribution. Headquartered in Plainfield, Indiana, IDS operates over 1.3 million square feet of warehousing space across four U.S. locations and serves more than 100 customers, many of them small to midsize businesses (SMBs).

This acquisition is part of DHL’s long-term strategy to support the booming SMB e-commerce segment, a key pillar in its “Strategy 2030” plan. IDS Fulfillment brings advanced order management systems and a proven track record of flexible, scalable solutions tailored to the needs of growing online retailers.
