DHL Acquires Inmar Supply Chain Solutions

DHL Supply Chain has acquired Inmar Supply Chain Solutions, a division of Inmar Intelligence specializing in retail e-commerce returns.

This strategic move positions DHL as North America’s largest reverse logistics provider.

The acquisition adds 14 return centers and approximately 800 associates to DHL’s operations, enhancing its extensive North American network of over 520 warehouses and 52,000 employees.

With this expansion, DHL gains capabilities in product remarketing, recall management, and supply chain performance analytics, complementing its logistics expertise.

Inmar Intelligence will retain its pharmaceutical reverse distribution business.

The acquisition reflects DHL’s commitment to addressing the growing importance of returns in the rapidly evolving e-commerce market, offering holistic solutions to simplify supply chains and enhance operational efficiency.
