UPS and FedEx both announced an average 5.9% increase for 2026, effective late December 2025 and early January 2026. The announced figure is an average across the rate table. Both carriers also tightened the size criteria for additional handling and large package charges, so accessorials rise faster than base rates. The defaults above are illustrative, not your numbers.
