DHL Express Preparing for Peak 2024

DHL Express is investing over €100 million in air and shipment handling capacity to prepare for the anticipated surge in demand during the year-end 2024 peak season. This investment will also include supplemental flights with existing aircraft.

Following a continued gradual B2B shipment volume recovery, DHL Express anticipates e-commerce to remain a driving force behind the increase in volumes on intercontinental lanes between Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. The adaptability to changing market conditions is evident as they plan to capitalize on the growth of e-commerce, a vital and growing global economy sector.
