USPS 2025 Rate Increase Plans
The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) for proposed Shipping Services price changes effective January 19, 2025, approved by the USPS Governors. The changes include:
– Priority Mail & Priority Mail Express: ~3.2% increase. – USPS Ground Advantage: ~3.9% increase. – Parcel Select: ~9.2% increase.These adjustments align with the USPS’s Delivering for America 10-year plan to enhance financial sustainability and maintain its public service mission, including delivering mail and packages six days a week.The PRC will review the proposal before implementation.
